MMAJunkie’s John Morgan reports that the UFC has taken action and that “three athletes who competed at December’s UFC on FOX 17 event will receive reductions on their scheduled payments after “knowingly and seriously” violating the policy“.

The names of the sanctioned fighters and the nature of their infractions have not been publicized nor have the amount of ‘payment reductions‘.

The UFC’s Athlete Outfitting Policy requires their fighters to wear approved gear during fight week.
